Sample preparation with the SILu(TM)MAb PK kit can be performed in under 5 hours and consists of coating wells with high-specificity capture antibody followed by immunoaffinity enrichment and rapid in-plate trypsin digestion. The resulting digest is ready for injection with no SPE or other cleanup required.

Glucose uptake capacity is an important indicator in the field of diabetes research. Diabetes is caused by decreased insulin secretion and responsiveness, and it inhibits cellular uptake of glucose. One common method for evaluating the glucose uptake ability of cells uses radioisotope-labeled glucose. Although this method has been used for many years, it requires special handling facilities and disposal of radioactive materials, at the disadvantage of inconvenience and high cost. Glucose Uptake Probe-Red has resolved these limitations. This probe emits strong red fluorescence (Ex=560 nm, Em=572 nm), allowing for easy detection of glucose uptake by a fluorescent microscope, microplate reader, and flow cytometry. Lonza Walkersville ToxiLight Non-Destructive Cytotoxicity BioAssay Kit with Plates, 500 Test
The ToxiLight BioAssay Kit is a bioluminescent, non-destructive cytolysis assay kit designed to measure the release of the enzyme, adenylate kinase (AK), from damaged cells. AK is a robust protein present in all eukaryotic cells, which is released into the culture medium when cells die. The enzyme actively phosphorylates ADP to form ATP and the resultant ATP is then measured using the bioluminescent firefly luciferase reaction. As the level of cytolysis increases, the amount of AK in the supernatant also increases, which results in emission of higher light intensity by the ToxiLight reagent. Because the ToxiLight BioAssay Kit exploits the fact that AK is released from cells when they die, there is no need for cell lysis (unlike many other cytotoxicity assays). Repeated samples of supernatant can therefore be taken over time without disrupting the cells themselves. This allows for kinetic analysis of cell death.
